The Earth Forms Us (2026)
The Earth Forms Us is a sculptural worm compost system made of ceramic. Functioning as a living ecosystem, the work explores cycles of life, death, and regeneration through composting. Within the sculpture, worms and micro-organisms break down organic matter and transform it into fertile soil: a foundation for new life. Rather than representing this cycle, the work allows it to unfold within the sculpture itself. The work situates itself within this continuous movement of decay and renewal, where endings and beginnings are no longer separate, but part of the same process.
